The Team of 26 consists of professional and top amateur and masters cyclists. The team includes a US National Team member, Canadian National Team member, Masters Silver Medalist, Maccabiah World Games Silver Medalist, former Junior World Championships National Team member, and State and Regional Champions. Some members of the Team are from Newtown, and some of our riders have children who went to the Sandy Hook School. The 2016 team includes parents, teachers, and high school students. In the past, riders have included a police officer, a Vietnam War veteran and family members of the Virginia Tech shooting.

Our nation’s colleges, universities and K-12 schools should be safe havens for learning and growth, where students, faculty, staff and visitors need not worry about the threat of gun violence on their campuses.
We call on our federal elected representatives to make it more difficult for people to carry concealed weapons on our campuses across the country. The answer to our gun violence problem is not the introduction of more weapons. (Go to petition)
