Gov. Haslam Takes the Easy Road – Bill Allowing Full-Time Employees to Carry Concealed Weapons on Campus to Become Law on July 1st.

Legislation to allow full time employees of Tennnessee’s public colleges and universities to carry loaded, concealed handguns will become law thanks to Governor Haslam’s decision yesterday not to sign or veto the message.
Despite overwhelming opposition from faculty, campus law enforcement and students, the Governor decided to ignore the pleas from the higher education community that guns on campus was not desired.
