Update:  February 26, 2016

As we expected, HB 859 (guns on campus), passed the House and is now in the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Clearly, there are many members of the General Assembly who are not recognizing the strong opposition expressed by students, faculty, and higher education officials, all of whom know that allowing guns on campus, and in the hands of carriers with limited or no firearms training, would endanger our campus communities across Georgia.
